Brian was born in the spring of 1974 in Anchorage.   After attending Wasilla High School, he matriculated at the University of Southern Colorado.   During his second Junior year there, he first learned the joy of writing about yourself in the third person and, finally, the meaning of the word 'matriculated'.

Graduating in 1997, Brian returned to Alaska and went to work at KAKM, Anchorage's PBS television station.  He soon found himself working in the production, programming, and promotion departments.   Brian could be found all over the building and sometimes in the parking lot, massaging the cramps out of his hand from filling out his complex time sheets.

In the fall of 1999, Brian visited a friend in Richmond, Virginia and was immediately infatuated with the area. He moved there that winter and stayed for four years, working for a home medical supply company as their web and marketing department, then for a small internet company called 303 Media. Originally a two-man operation, Brian helped build the company into a thriving internet marketing business before the call of his homeland drew him back north.

Arriving back in Wasilla in April of 2004, Brian worked as a Marketing Specialist at ACS for two years, but is currently employed as a graphic artist and web designer at Gonzalez Marketing.
